Jaci Russo is a brand strategist, author, podcast/radio host, and one-half of the founding team behind the Branding Agency, RUSSO.
She has 25 years of branding and marketing experience on a national level in a variety of industries, large and small. Her background includes strategic planning, brand management, national product launches, and media management for local, regional and national clients.
As an author, Jaci has published numerous eBooks on branding and is the primary contributor to RUSSO’s Razor Branding Blog as well as Pinpoint for Health which focuses on branding for non-profit healthcare organizations. She is the host of the Razor Branding podcast and Brand Buzz, a regional Radio show. In addition, Jaci is a sought-after speaker and has served as a featured writer for numerous branding and marketing blogs including, Ad Age’s Small Agency Diary and Talent Zoo.
Her work in the world of branding for non-profit healthcare organizations is groundbreaking. She has been invited as a presenter at both the Urgent Care Association of America Conference as well as the Healthcare IT Marketing and PR Conference, in addition to giving a number of lectures and seminars on the subject.
Jaci began her career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles, California. While there, she worked as a Junior Talent Agent for clients such as Helen Hunt, David Letterman, Blair Underwood, Bonnie Hunt, Janine Turner, Mimi Rogers, Jennifer Grey, and Gwyneth Paltrow – developing projects, negotiating contracts, and creating opportunities. Soon Jaci took on the role of Executive Assistant to Chairman and CEO, Barry Diller. As Diller’s right-hand, she coordinated the strategic planning, mergers/acquisitions and business development of six different Diller-owned companies including Home Shopping Network, Ticketmaster, USA Network, Lycos, CitySearch, and Savoy Pictures.
After returning to her hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana, Jaci served as Marketing Director for AKA Advertising and the Giles Automotive Group. At just 30-years-old Jaci co-founded RUSSO, solidifying her industry reputation as a professional to watch.
In 2007, Jaci was named by Chase Bank as a member of the Top 20 Under 40 and in 2010 she was inducted into the Acadiana Business Hall of Fame.
Jaci has served on the boards of Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, the705, Public Relations Association of Louisiana (Acadiana Chapter), Acadiana Ad Fed, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Our Lady of Fatima School and is on the Advisory Council at Schools of the Sacred Heart. Jaci is a 2009 graduate of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Lafayette program as well as Council for a Better Louisiana’s regional program, Leadership Louisiana.
Jaci and the agency give back to the community through their efforts with local non-profit organizations including Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation (RCAF), Christian Youth Theater, Lafayette Little League, United Way, Boys & Girls Club, Louisiana HonorAir, Miles Perret Cancer Services, Junior League, Acadiana Symphony and Healing House.
Yet, her most important role is wife to Michael, her husband of 19 years, and mother to their four teenagers.
